Kalavrita Downhill MTB Race 2017

The fourth match of the Hellenic Downhill MTB Cup in Kalavrita was really exciting to film!

The 2.7km track was perfectly prepared by Ioannis Marinos, while the rain of the previous days had created an ideal terrain. As a rider myself, I filmed and edited this event with pleasure. Except that, I managed to design on time the intro animation for this race. Illustration by Thanos Tsioutis.

The winner was in Junior category Marios Andreou, with Eliseo Gouvi of the Elite category. Impressive again Thanasis Panagitsas with third year in General and second in Junior category. With technical problems, Giannis Ioannou qualified for fourth overall in front of Cyprus champion Andreas Theodorou who fought for the first time in Greek territory. The fastest master was again Aris Hadjigeorgiou, the fastest veteran was Fotis Skaris from Gravity Freaks team.
